A product can be clearly identified, in the export by means of the Product-ID, in the import by means of the product number (field: P_NR). The product ID is the internal database ID that is assigned at the creation of the product. The database ID is assigned exactly once. In addition, the product number of the data supplier is included in the export as <P_NR_EXTERNAL>. This may be altered by the data supplier. The combination of P_NR and P_NR_EXTERNAL allows to deduce an alteration.

The same logic is used on article level. At the creation of an article, a unique article ID (A_ID) is assigned. In addition, you’ll receive the article number (A_NR) of the data supplier. This may be altered by the data supplier.
